    • I highly recommend Brown's Arlington Honda for car service needs. I have been a customer for close to 10 years, where I've purchased and continued to have my cars serviced by them. What keeps me coming back to service my Ridgeline Truck or MDX SUV is knowing that I can trust their advice and work gets done right the first time. When mistakes... More

If You Want to Cut Back on Fuel Costs, Browns Arlington Honda Can Help

    Last updated 4 years ago

Honda, the first automaker to offer a mass-produced hybrid to the U.S. market, has a wide variety of hybrids and alternative-energy cars available for drivers interested in saving money at the pump and reducing their carbon footprint.

Here is a look at some of the most fuel-efficient new Honda models available at your local Honda dealership:

    Honda Sport Coupe

The Honda CR-Z is a two-seat hatchback built for both spirited performance and impressive fuel economy. In addition to being the first production hybrid to offer a six-speed manual transmission, the CR-Z’s sporty cabin and three-mode drive system makes you feel more connected to the road than in any other hybrid. In terms of fuel economy, the Honda CR-Z earns 36 mpg in the city and 39 mpg on the highway.

    Honda Hybrid Sedans

Honda makes two affordable hybrids, the Insight and the Civic. The Insight is known for boasting plenty of headroom, a progressive exterior design, and a fuel economy rating of 41 mpg in the city and 44 mpg on the highway. The Civic Hybrid, on the other hand, has been popular because of its understated style and its combined fuel economy rating of 44 mpg.

    Honda Alternative-Energy Sedan

If you want to drive a Honda that operates on a totally different kind of fuel, the Honda Civic Natural Gas Sedan is the way to go. With a high-compression engine, this Civic is powered by natural gas, which is superior in many ways to gasoline. In addition to being domestically produced, natural gas is also cleaner burning and less expensive than gasoline.

To experience these fuel-efficient Honda vehicles, or many hybrid cars as well, come to Brown’s Arlington Honda. We have a great selection of new and used Hondas that will save you a significant amount of money on fuel costs. Call us at (703) 522-8808 if you have any questions or if you would like to know about custom ordering a new Honda vehicle.

    • I recently purchased a new 2013 CR-V from Brown’s. I got a great deal and the staff when above and beyond to make it a great experience. My salesman was AJ. He worked with me to get me the right car in the right color with the extras that I asked for and not a bunch of stuff I did not want. AJ responded right away to my request for a... More

A Sneak Peek at the 2014 Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid

    Last updated 4 years ago

The Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid offers a number of firsts for the plug-in hybrid market. It’s built here in the United States and boasts a sleek style that pairs nicely with its sporty driving dynamics. The battery can also be charged in less than one hour. Here’s a closer look at three things that make the 2014 Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid a top pick in the hybrid market:

    Sharp Design

The most instantly appealing thing about the 2014 Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid is its style. Honda differentiated the Hybrid’s exterior design from the standard model by giving it a lower and sportier fascia that features blue-accented LED headlights. The car also features dark, angular rims and a more aerodynamic rear fascia. Even the inside boasts an attractive design, with a curved dashboard, simple button layout, and chrome trim.

    Class-Leading Fuel Economy

The new Honda Accord Hybrid Plug-In Hybrid beats the Ford Fusion, Chevrolet Volt, and Toyota Prius by earning an official fuel economy rating of 124 MPGe in the city and 105 MPGe on the highway. After the battery runs out of juice, the Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid is expected to earn 49 mpg in the city and 45 mpg on the highway using nothing but gasoline.

Charging Time of Less Than One Hour

Perhaps the most impressive difference between the 2014 Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid and its competitors is the Accord’s charging times. Using a level-2 charger, the Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid will achieve a full recharge in less than one hour. Plugging it into a normal 120v charger will take just three hours.

The 2014 Honda Accord Plug-In Hybrid is currently only available in select locations. To find out how to get one, call Brown’s Arlington Honda at (703) 522-8808 or visit our dealership in-person. To see our full selection of new and used Honda vehicles, visit our we
